Quick Tip: How to Store Half an Avocado
Once an avocado is cut, oxygen in the air begins to oxidize the fruit, turning that lovely, creamy green interior an unappetizing brown. To keep this from happening, sprinkle it with lemon juice and wrap it in plastic wrap or tin foil, making sure that the wrap is in direct contact with the cut surface. Store it in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
