Quick Tip: Keeping Your Kitchen Germ-Free
The kitchen sink is one of the germiest places in your house. Remember to thoroughly clean your sink, faucet, cutting boards, and counters with hot, soapy water every day or two–or whenever you work with raw meat. While you’re at it, sterilize your dish sponge in the microwave or dishwater. Dish towels should be laundered twice a week.
