Quick Tip: Preserving Autumn Produce for Winter
A lot of people are getting (back) into canning these days. But if the hassle and mess–not to mention the fear of food poisoning–seem too intimidating, dehydrating and freezing can be quick, safe ways to save fresh produce for winter. An inexpensive dehydrator (such as this one) is a great way to preserve apples, peaches, tomatoes, and all kinds of other foods.
