Quick Tip: Save Time When Emailing
Sending e-mails can take a lot of time. If you find yourself typing the same lines over and over again, a macro* might be the answer to all those prayers to the God of Working Less and Doing More.
A macro is a keystroke or short set of characters that turn into something when you type them. Let’s say you frequently have to type the same lines explaining why Zombies don’t like small dogs. You’d want to define a macro so that when you type “Zombies dogs,” the whole paragraph instantly appears.
For more on macros and other advice for using technology more wisely so you can work less and do more, see my book.
