End Split Ends
Sometimes our schedule is so busy that it’s hard even to make time for a haircut. Here’s how we temporarily smooth split ends. Mix together one egg yolk, two tablespoons of olive or grape-seed oil, and two teaspoons of honey. Apply the mixture to damp hair, cover with a shower cap, and leave for 30 minutes. Shampoo as usual. The emollient properties in the ingredients will seal the ends for a few days until you can get yourself in your stylist’s chair for a proper trim.

Get Rid of Static
If brushing your hair makes it practically stand on end, run your brush under cold water before using it on your hair.
De-Frizz
Try this treatment to moisturize your locks and keep frizzies at bay: Mix together one egg yolk and two tablespoons of olive oil (double the recipe if you have longer hair). Rub over your hair and place a shower cap on top, then leave in for 15-30 minutes before rinsing out. You won’t believe how smooth and silky your hair becomes!
Restyle
Many women (and some men) love having long locks, but a thick, solid curtain of glossy hair can overwhelm your face and make your skin look dull and tired. If you have long hair, make sure to cut some shorter layers from underneath to create movement around your face and let the light shine through.
