Quick Tip: Better Tasting Green Trea
Green tea has a lot going for it but you probably won’t drink much of it if you don’t like the way it tastes. Brewing it with boiling water, as you would when making black tea, can make green tea taste bitter. The ideal brewing temperature for green tea is about 175 degrees F, which is right when the first small bubbles start to rise to the water’s surface. If the water comes to a boil, take it off the heat and wait five minutes before using it to make green tea.
