Hot oatmeal is a great way to warm up on a cold winter morning but there’s no need to put the oats away when the temperature climbs. Instead of cooking them into porridge, you can enjoy rolled oats as a cold cereal.
Muesli, for example, is a cold cereal made of rolled oats and dried fruit. Unlike granola, muesli is usually low in fat and added sugars.
Bonus Tip: If you have a copy of my new book, Nutrition Diva’s Secrets for a Healthy Diet, look on page 199 for another one of my favorite warm weather breakfasts, featuring rolled oats and yogurt.
