Ask the Diva: Is a Foreman Grill a Healthy Way to Cook?
Q. I have recently bought a George Foreman Grill and love how easy it is to use and how great the food tastes. But, I am known to like foods that are unhealthy for me, so I have to ask: Is it really that much healthier than say, boiling or baking foods, if you use the same sauces?
A) I don’t actually own one myself but I understand these are great little appliances and—even though the food tastes good—you have nothing to fear. The grill allows you to cook with a minimum of added fat and avoids the very high, direct heat of actual charcoal or gas grilling, which can lead to its own problems.
