While most people may get some mild benefits from caffeine, I gave a short list of people who might want to avoid caffeine, such as pregnant women and those who are sensitive to stimulants.
In addition, people with diabetes should be aware that caffeine can impair their body’s ability to control their blood sugar. It’s ironic, because drinking coffee lowers your risk of developing diabetes. Nonetheless, if you already have diabetes or trouble controlling your blood sugar, decaffeinated coffee might be your best bet.
