Want to Live to 100?
What kind of exercise can help you live to be 100? Get-Fit Guy asks some of the fittest, liveliest elderly people he’s ever met.

What kind of exercise can help you live to be 100? I’ve put this question to some of the fittest, liveliest old people I’ve ever met, and here’s what they had to say:
Arthur De Vany: To live long and prosper, Art recommends lots of “random” exercise – constantly surprise your body by varying your workouts as much as possible. So one week you might do some new weight training routines, and another week, you might try out a new hike or bicycling trail.
Cary Nosler: Cary recommends consistency – and no matter what, doing something every day, even if it’s just a little bit of exercise, such as a quick walk. As you get older, your body maintains fitness less efficiently, so it’s important to not take long breaks from an exercise habit.
Arlene Taylor: Arlene has one of the most active minds of any older person I’ve ever met, and her secret is to constantly exercise her brain. Try Sudoku, crossword puzzles, musical instruments, and as many variations of mind games as possible to keep your neurons firing – which is just as important as keeping your leg muscles toned!
